Use SleekTradings

Sleektradings was recommended to me by a friend who got ripped off by cardpool. I usually sell cards by contacting SleekTradings via email

I tested this gift card exchanger by selling a giftcard with a balance of $20 and i actually received $16 on paypal. I was still skeptical so i tested again with a $30 giftcard and got paid $23.
I finally realized SleekTradings was credible.

I took a leap of faith, I sold a $500 giftcard, i took 4 days, but i really got my cash on Zelle $469.

I recommend this exchanger. I have sold cards to them.

I have purchased $25 home depot gift card. Swipe one time in a shop for $12. After few months when I try to use it the link was not working. Customer support is not giving proper response. Cheating ....

My husband and I went to Applebee's…

My husband and I went to Applebee's recently to use our gift card which I purchased from Cardpool. When the check came, I gave the server my gift card. He came back and said that there was a problem and his register wouldn't accept it. He suggested I call the number on the card, which I did. I was told that the card had been used in N.J. in October. At that time we were only leaving our house for groceries and we live in MD. and doing no traveling. I suggested that they issue a new card. I had purchased it several months before. We just hadn't been eating in restaurants. So, I was told that since it had been more that 30 days, there was nothing they could do. I told them that with the pandemic I thought they should do it to keep up a good relationship with customers. No luck. I think I was sold a used card. I will not use them again, even for the discount prices. I was out the $23.00. Stay away!

In August 2019

In August 2019, I "sold" 4 Think Geek gift cards worth $25 each ("sold" implies payment, which never occurred).
Order #39715586.

I was given an option to be paid in check or Amazon gift card, and I chose Amazon gift card for $81.64. I never recieved the gift card payment. 2 weeks later, sent a follow-up email, and then another at the 1 month mark - both were ignored. I did what I could in good faith to allow them to remedy the situation, and I'm out $80. Seller and buyer beware, Cardpool is sketchy at best and a full-on scam at worst.

SCAM

Update: CardPool has replied: They acknowledge their scam and refuse to honor a refund due to their 'time guarantee'. Using loophole to steal from families during a pandemic. Sick and sad. Will be following up with internet fraud/BBB agencies. SCAM. My husband bought 3 gift cards to Mashalls/TJ Maxx for $50/each, or a total of $150. When I went to use them today, they had a very balance, a balance of 7 cents, and a balance of .50cents. We bought a total of $150 cards that have a total value of .57! Outrageous. Now the company is closed. I have contacted them and am posting to Trust Pilot at the same time due to their reputation. I would appreciate this fixed ASAP. It is unacceptable to steal and commit FRAUD. The order number is Order #40937030

Cardpool poor experience

Purchase a bad gift card that didnt work. Contacted multiple times about the issue and they blame the customer. They will say you gave the information out or your computer or phone is hacked. Buyer beware as youre giving your money away if this happens to you

SCAM! Do not use!

I sold a gift card to them and never received payment that was agreed upon. I filed several complaints and they did not correct the error. At every point in their response, they have been rude, outright liars.

Many people have had the same experience as listed in my review and other reviews on Trustpilot. The BBB recently issued a statement that consumers should be wary about using Cardpool - do a Google search with "BBB Cardpool" and pull up the article from 12/15/2020 (Trustpilot rules will not allow me to link it here).

I'll go one step further - DO NOT USE CARDPOOL!!!

Support Email response

I am asking for help from Cardpool regarding 2 old transactions, to be precise transactions done in 2018. I am asking about my check information from them.
I have sent 3 Emails to the support Email address, but I have not received response for any of them.
I am sure Cardpool would be having the required information. But the support team is not responding to any Emails and now I cannot connect them via phone as well


Transaction numbers:

24188435

For the above transactions, Cardpool had mailed me checks. But I am not sure, if I have deposited the checks in bank. Maybe I have lost them. In that case can you issue me new checks?

Issue resolved by Cardpool

Horrible company, bought an Olive Garden gift card, they mailed a link where i have to enter a phone number to retrieve the gift card. The phone number on my account is different from the number they sent and when i enter my number, i cannot get the card. I sent three emails to support including their online form but no response. I got a response from Cardpool after two days and it has been resolved. Wish the support was faster but given the pandemic, may be they are not operating at regular capacity.

A:

I would be surprised if you hear back from this company. Its a scam. I've been trying for 2 weeks to get a response to my issue and zero response.

Yes, I have had the same thing. I sent 3 separate orders and none have been confirmed as having received. I have a feeling Cardpool is having financial difficulties and will be going under soon.

A:

I just called 415-419-8787 and someone answered the phone but they got mixed up my order with someone else's and he still told me he couldn't do anything. He kept telling me I have to send an email to their support center! This is absurd! They got my order mixed up but they told me the person who bought my gift card cancelled the order and they relisted my gift card. And I waited for days and nothing happened!

Call this number after 9am and someone will answer your call to verify your order 415-419-8787. That's what I did, answered a few questions and got my gift card same day a few hours later
